Readers invited to share their holidays

Christmas tree 1All GreeneCountyNewsOnline readers are invited and encouraged to send along greetings or favorite holiday memories, photos, or recipes to share with GCNO readers in the next couple of weeks.

Last year readers shared memories and holiday traditions. Some were touching and some were very practical. One reader shared a story of Christmas Eve candlelight suppers of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches when her children were young. GCNO can have its own tradition of opening up its pages to give anyone his or her own chance to “publish.”

Maybe there’s a particularly sweet Christmas picture (old or new), or maybe you’re far away (there are GCNO readers all over the country and all over the world) and you’d like to post a photo greeting. Maybe you’ve written a holiday limerick or you’ve created a stunning bit of décor you’d like to showcase. Anything that wouldn’t land a person on Santa’s “naughty” list is welcome.

Email submissions to news@greenecountynewsonline.com  for inclusion. FYI, Wednesday Newsday will morph into Tuesday Newsday on Dec. 23.
